Refine Drawing & Sketching Skills
May 1 @ 6:00 pm - May 29 @ 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Wednesday, repeating until May 8, 2019
Bring your drawing materials to this four week workshop class. We will be focusing on line drawings, composition, shading, balance and perspective to help you sharpen your technical and observational skills. This should help to form the basis for finished work in any media.
Terri Doyle has taught arts and crafts at the local community college to the SOAR program for the past 5 years. Her formal education in the arts was what she was able to get in public school and the occasional after school tutoring. She has won several awards and ribbons in competitions thru out the southeast, including New York City and has taken 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the Carolina Artist Expo in the past couple of years. She uses several types of media, currently working in color pencil and graphite doing portraits of pets, and expressive wild animals.
Materials list will be provided at the time of registration. Next set of four classes runs 4/10, 4/17, 5/1 and 5/8.
