Summer Art Exploration Camp: Preschool Round 2 (Ages 3-5)

Arts on Main is excited to host FREE summer art exploration camps during the summer of 2023! Our young students will be making “Art for Art’s Sake!” Focusing on fine motor skills, tactile activities, and getting very messy, the kids will explore art through the ages starting with making cave paint and ending with modern sculpture using handmade clay.

We will offer 2 sessions of the preschool camp with the same lessons being taught during both. There will be a limited number of spots available. We will enroll students on a first come, first served basis.

About the Instructor

Summer Art Exploration Camps will be taught by Anne Atkinson. Anne Atkinson holds a degree in Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has worked as a Scenic Artist for theatre for many years. Anne has taught art to people of all ages- from toddlers to seniors. She was raised in a family that embraced education and the arts…music and painting. Singing and dancing were always part of her life. She is looking forward to encouraging exploration of art this summer at Arts on Main!
