10th Anniversary Exhibit

Arts on Main has come a long way since Founder, Kay Van Dyke, first opened the doors in 2011. We want to continue to celebrate our metamorphosis by featuring the work of the many artists whose work has been displayed at Arts on Main over the past ten years.

Deadline for submissions is 11:59pm on Monday, December 14th.

Work will be reviewed by the gallery and acceptance notification will be sent Friday, December 18th by 8pm.

The 10th Anniversary Exhibit will open in January of 2021 with an opening reception occurring on Friday, January 8th at 5pm. Reservations will be required for the opening reception.

Submission Guidelines

-Name, address, website (if applicable)

-Artist statement (400 word max)

-CV

-8-10 JPG images of work and captions

For this show, the gallery will only consider entries by artists who have previously displayed their work at Arts on Main over the past ten years. All work must be cleanly finished or framed. Work does not need to be for sale. There are no size restrictions. The work can be recent or created within the last few years. Artists may also submit a work created ten years ago to be displayed alongside their current work, in a special Metamorphosis Exhibit, to show the progression of their skills as an artist. Artists may submit up to three works of art.

Only email submissions will be accepted (do not bring your work to the gallery) at the following address: [email protected]

You will receive a confirmation email once your application is submitted.

Our young students will be making “Art for Art’s Sake!” Focusing on fine motor skills, tactile activities, and getting very messy, the kids will explore art through the ages starting with making cave paint and ending with modern sculpture using handmade clay.

We will offer 2 sessions of the preschool camp with the same lessons being taught during both. There will be a limited number of spots available. We will enroll students on a first come, first served basis.
