You don’t want to miss this one of a kind class! Color Your Canvas KIDZ is an ongoing monthly paint class for kids. For the January class, the young artists will be painting a Polar Bear in a snow globe. We’ll be learning a controlled splatter technique in this class, for the snow.
**Once registered for this class, you will need to email a clear, bright photo of the stuffed animal to: email@example.com. The image will be transferred onto the canvas to be painted during the class.
Please bring an apron if you own one.
As part of the 2019 Pocahontas Festival, Arts on Main will host “Pocahontas Imagined”, a Print Pop-Up Show featuring artistic representations of Pocahontas. The images on display have been reproduced and shared with Gloucester County by the Museum of History & Culture in Richmond, Virginia. In addition to the Print Pop-Up, our monthly Color Your Canvas Kidz class will feature artwork loosely-inspired by American Indian culture. Throughout the day, there will be a special coloring page for children to take along with them as well as a “Make-and-Take Craft” for all to enjoy during their visit, while supplies last.
Color Your Canvas Kidz class requires a separate sign up and costs $15. No charge for the Make-and-Take Craft.
Color Your Canvas-KIDZ is a monthly paint class at Arts On Main in Gloucester Village, taught by Christina Micket. This class is recommended for children ages 5-12 and is a fun way to get creative and introduce the basics of painting.
For the September class, we’ll be painting a cow snacking on hay!

Color Your Canvas-KIDZ is a monthly paint class for kids at Arts on Main with teacher Christina Micket. In the class, the young artist learns the basics of painting while being guided through the painting of the month. For our July class, the young artists will learn the basics of painting and will be guided through a fun painting of a Summer Pineapple!

Do you like Science? Do you like Art? Do you like to eat? Then this class is for you! We’ll learn about the Layers of Soil by creating them with yummy edible things in a cup, and then illustrate them in a collage, we’ll learn about the rock cycle by creating candy “rocks” that are edible, and then creating pebble art, and while learning about the layers in the earth’s crust we’ll and make a model of them with air dry clay. Ages 5-11
