Studio 101: “Starry Night” Wax Resist Watercolor Painting
Saturday, March 19
9:30am-10:30am

Studio 101 was designed for our 4–6-year-old community artists. During each class, children will be introduced to different art mediums while learning about art techniques, processes, and artists. Each student must be accompanied by an adult (Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, etc.) who will stay with them during the class to help their child when needed. This program is a great way to introduce your child to art while making artwork and memories together!

In this Studio 101 class, students will look at “Starry Night” by Vincent Van Gogh. They will discuss the colors, the types of lines, the movement of lines and brushstrokes in the painting. Students will use crayons and watercolors to create their own Starry Night masterpiece. All materials will be provided by the instructor.

Registration deadline: Thursday, March 17 @ 5pm

Teaching children how to create at a young age will give them a creative outlet to express themselves in the future.
